Boid Generative Animation

A sequence of generative art using Boid systems and theory, and coded with Processing.js. Comprised of data points in place of cells, it is difficult to say that these boids are different from any other simple form of life. One line of their DNA-code is for fear, one for companionship, and one for desire. And other than their desire to stay within the frame, they act of their own volition without outside forces. They are trivially intelligent, but they are "Alive."
